Job Title: Lead Full Stack Developer (Python)
Location: 100% remote (willingness to travel for key visits once per month)

Compensation: $140,000 to 150,000 (based on experience)

SUMMARY:
Senior Full Stack Developer will be skilled in hands-on development and some system architecture, this individual will serve as the lead for a small team. Senior Full Stack Developer will bring expertise in full-stack development and architecture, database administration (DBA), cloud technologies (AWS, S3, and microservices), and agile development practices, ensuring the successful execution of our projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Technical Skills:
  • 8+ years of experience in full-stack development, with exposure to startup environments or fast-paced, iterative development teams.
  • Strong proficiency in front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue) and back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Django, or Flask).
  • Experience in Python development (data-related).
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services, including S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
  • Familiarity with microservices design, implementation, and management.
  • Hands-on experience with MySQL or other relational databases, including DBA responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker preferred).
• Methodologies & Tools:
  • Expertise in agile development methodologies.
  • Proficient in project management tools (Jira, Smartsheet, etc).
  • Strong understanding of version control systems (Git preferred).
• Leadership:
  • Experience mentoring and leading junior developers.
  • Ability to provide technical direction and enforce best practices.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements.
