Description

Under supervision coordinates patient reception, scheduling and registration. Obtains and records all data relative to the registration process. Maintains knowledge of insurance and third-party payers, computer data-entry and forms and the Advanced Beneficiary Notification (ABN) process. Answers all incoming calls using correct phone etiquette and displays exemplary customer service skills.

We are hiring for Patient Scheduler position at Providence Imaging Center in Anchorage, AK!

Position is full-time, 1.0 FTE, 8-hr Day shifts, 40 hours per week.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience with multi-line telephone systems, personal computer, printers, copiers and fax machines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Medical terminology.



• 6 months Clerical background involving public contact, preferably medical. Ancillary department (such as Radiology), clerical or Admitting Representative/Scheduling specialist experience.
