HEALTHCARE, LABOR, and other topics from Environment to Immigrations will be on the Program for the Obama Advocacy Summit!
Of course, Healthcare is my passion so I will be jumping in with other grassroots organizations, advocates, Obama supporters, experts, Senior Policy Leaders, etc. to make the Obama Advocacy Summit a success!
The Summit will take place on Saturday, January 17, 2009, NOON to 4 p.m. at the Navy Heritage Center, Navy Memorial, 701 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington DC; just steps from the Archives-Navy Memorial stop on the Green and Yellow Lines.
http://www.navymemorial.org. There will be several break-out sessions and a cash lunch. The Registration fee is looking like $10.00. I will post firm information by the weekend, including online Registration information.
This is truly another historical opportunity for you to do your part to support our first African-American President-Elect, Mr. Barack Obama. He cannot be successful without our dedication and commitment to assist him to shine.
My prayer is that our community will come out in droves beyond Inauguration Day to show America we are truly leaders and that includes from the local communities up to the state, federal levels as well. We possess the power, intelligence, commitment, and
focus to do all the (dirty) work to move America forward.
Please consider supporting Mr. Obama by participating. I cannot do this alone, but I will try to bring you healthcare policy info and what advocacy tactics are necessary to push Mr. Obama's Policy Agenda forward locally. We shall all benefit by getting involved like we have never done before. This is the time for African-American professionals and experts and EVERYone to sparkle along with this new Presidential Administration....Yes, we can!
